I liked it the first time I read it and I like it now. You are wasted on slash when you can write Severus and Hermione this well!

Very Snapey way of making Hermione face her guilt. Brilliant.
I also appreciated Snape vunerablility. It was very closed off like Snape character is, but you were able to convey it.
