This is excellent. Dark, but strangely touching and realistic, considering that in real life, the survivors of a torturous experience sometimes wind up even more destroyed than those who died.

I always enjoy when an author challenges herself/himself to write something they normally wouldn't think of. It's a true test of creatvity- and the flow and style of this "beautiful" fic (for lack of a better word) kept me reading. Wonderful!
