Have been following all this long while, sometimes with frustration at the slow pace. Writing now to say how much I appreciated this chapter--not just the lemons (which you have written very beautifully and poignantly), or the pace, which you picked right the hell up, but the originality and intelligence of the action. In the typical version, Hermione would have run sobbing into the night when Severus lashed out at her, and there would have been some number of chapters of angst and alienation. Your Hermione's intelligence in assessing the situation, and guts in reaching out to him in faith that he really did care for her, was refreshing and touching and not boring. Also appreciated how sex was not brilliant and flawless the first time out, and that they didn't shag like bunnies all night long.

Thanks very much for the lovely chapter, and your incredible investment in this story. You have given us quite a gift of entertainment.
