This looks like it\'s going to be a rather lovely, disturbing story -- I\'ll wait with baited breath for the next chapter. You\'ve got nice pacing and an enjoyable writing style, I\'m sure this is going to turn out to be a nice ride indeed. And, of course, my favorite bit of the whole first chapter (not that it wasn\'t all intriguing) was of course: \"A small pack of salamanders escaped from a holding pen and set fire to a row of rosebushes, only to be found rolling happily in the flames of their destruction.\" I don\'t think I\'ve laughed so hard in a long time. Keep up the good work...or...I\'ll do something regretable, maybe.
