I wish general finger printing were still as uncommon as you wrote back then...
But politics aside, as I said on AO3, I still love this fic and hope you'll get around to updating it soon!
One thing, though: you have a number of misspelled HP canon names (characters, places and spells - Just an example: good food is to be had from Madame Rosmerta at the Three Broomsticks and not from Madame... something-else... at the Hog's Head) and also a few idiosyncratic expressions throughout the story that make me think you might be a) not a native speaker and b) in need of a beta. If you ever write more of this story, I'd offer to proof-read it if you like. (Admittedly, I'm not a native speaker myself, but I do alright at spotting mistakes.)
