EXELENT! This is proving to be pretty damned good! Doesn\'t quite beat Love, Lies and Lonelyness yet but theres time, theres time. Anyway if you don\'t update soon I shall have to shoot you with my... rythem stick.

Wow this is developing wonderfully. I love the new awareness that Harry has of Snape and how realistically Remus explained it as not being love (yet hopefully). I love too how well you\'ve captured the rapport (bitter and angry though it often is) that exists between our boys, I can see every word you write coming to life in my head. Love it, and cannot wait for more.

Hi! I\'ve religiously been following your stories since way back when \"The Jewel of Mirkwood\" was in its early chapters. I\'m happy to see that now you\'ve ventured into the realm of the HP fandom, since that means I can have one of my favorite authors writing also in my two favorite fandoms. I\'m very sorry I never got to leave a review on \"Love, Lies & Loneliness\". I\'m the worst kind of person at writing reviews, although that never stopped me to check daily for new updates! Could you forgive me?
After JoM was completed, I was worried for a while that there would be no more stories. That\'s why when I saw LL&L I was thrilled beyond words. I think it was quite a good first-try into the HP universe, full of interesting twists and slashy goodies. My only tiny complaint would be the end, which I found a bit confusing, perhaps somewhat rushed, but feel free to ignore me. In LL&L sometimes (mainly in the first chapters) I got the impression that you hadn\'t as tight a grip in the HP universe as you had on, say, the LotR one. Something that, I\'m very pleased to note, is not the case at all in \"Where Others Fear to Tread\".
If anything, I\'m of the impression that LL&L was a good warming exercise for WOFtT. In this new story, I found the characters better developed, and the plot better crafted. All in all, WOFtT is a well-rounded story, solid in its structure and argument. The chaaracters\' reactions, feelings and motivations ring true in every way, and this makes for a compelling reading.
If I may be bold, I found your style has come a long way since the days of JoM firts chapters; and think that WOFtT is proof of that. This story, I think, has a level of artistic maturity that the others lack, which doesn\'t mean they weren\'t great stories in their own right. But WOFtT has a sense of balance the others had not.
Thank you for the fast updates, and thank you even more for sharing this amazing story with us.

PS Rant: Can I hit some sense into Snape\'s head, repeatedly? Pretty, please? I find it annoying that he behaves in such a childish way (i.e. \"You hurt my feelings, and now I\'m going to hurt yours. Never mind that I\'m forcing you into a difficult situation, and have allways gone out of my way to despise you.\"), and uses the hardships of his life as a justification to abuse Harry. Sorry, but I don\'t condone physical violence, and Snape *does* owe Harry the same respect he asks. (Not to mention that he\'s supposed to have 20 years more of common sense and control.) End rant.
PS2 On the same note, please don\'t even get me started on Sirius and Dumbledore. Grrrr.
