Good lord. What happened to Snape that caused him to think he was saving Harry showing Harry love by doing what he did?

When will he get the psychological help that he so desperately needs?
Will Snape try to commit suicide, he seems like a likely candiate once he realises what he has done and that it has hurt Harry. Not to mention the depression he is in.

i read. a lot. I've read many stories of diffrent settings and plots. hundreds of senarios have passed before my eyes and plots twist and turn every day. I've read everything from and including veela harry to its an adapt harry day. But never once, in all the time i've been persuing fanfiction, have i ever encountered a story like this. not ever. not once. i stumbled upon this story last night, at around nine pm my time, and got to chapter 20 by 1am before i was forced to go to sleep. i did not want to. i wanted to finish and UNDERSTAND what you had done. what had been writen and what was going on. I needed to. You have writen such a dynamic plot and storie line that it was nearly imposable for me to turn away from it. It was fresh, strong and strangly endering. at the same time you made snap a bad guy, you made him a good guy. you deveated from the normal that it was no hardship to read, and now that i find my self at the end of what you have curintly writen, chapter 33 part 1, i find myself looking forward to another chapter, the completion of the idea you have planted and the situation you have enganered. To many writing is just a pass time, a sport or a recreation. But to some it is a passion and a calling. your story seems to place you in the latter, and i find the writen world richer for it. i hope you continue to write, fanfiction or regular fiction, long after this storie is completed.

Oh my goddess! This is pure torture! Why!? Why are you doing this to Harry!? I wince every time I read their interaction! I thought that I was bad with some of the things I've written in the last few years, but this humilation is leaps and bounds beyond what I could imagine! *whimpers* Poor Harry! *glares furiously at everyone else* Harry isn't even my favorite character! I much prefer Snape, and yet, this is painful even for me! My goddess, you are an excellent author! *bows down in awe*

Hi, roedhunt,
I would like to compliment you on your wonderful writing. Snape/Harry is my second favourite pairing after Draco/Harry (I liked your 'With A Dragon's Heart' in that ship); It is hard to find good ones in Snape/Harry ship, though. 'The Death of a Soul' is markedly above average and is one of my favourite for this ship:) The other one I like is 'Cambiare Podentes; The Invocare'.(the sequel is coming out soon, yay!)

I love the concept of Hurt/No comfort accepted; it is brilliant and true to Harry's character. Way too many people make some snivelling little b***h out of him, which is a bit too AU for my taste.

All sex scenes were tastefully done and definetely served the plot. Well done:) I am glad that they were not sugarcoated; painfully realistic; made me sweat a bit.

You did a very good job on this and I like your unique style of writing. So glad that you've finally updated, I had this bookmarked forever:D

Yep, Snape is a total bastard...

But he's also a severely abused bastard. Are they ever going to address his mental state?
Are they ever going to focus on the abuse he went through as a spy for Dumbledore?

There are more to his motives than what everyone is seeing.

Sure he loves Harry. No one can deny that.
But can they address the means in which he tried to love Harry?

How the relationship abused both of them?

I don't deny that Harry was taken advantaged of. And all based on false information.
But Snape, in his delusions thought he could get Harry to love him. And he honestly tried.
But both Harry's stubborness and Snape's delusions caused emense mental and emotional damage to both of them.

And until they address the damage also done to Snape, and the abuse he suffered not only at Voldemort's, the Death Eaters, and Harry's hands, then nothing can be done to heal them both.

anyways, that's just my humble opinion.
