Ch 1-2 - great start! I just hope the two of them don\'t stagnate too long, puttering but not doing anything challenging for their minds. Hasn\'t he figured out that she can be a useful potions assistant? Or they can both work for those shops in Diagon Alley - she can be the \"public\" face and they can both stay home and make potions in their home lab. They need money to buy groceries and stuff. Might as well make potions for sale! Thanks for posting. Please update soon.

You\'ve got the beginnings of a thoughful story here. A lot of internal diologue so the characters can explain how they are feeling and how their feelings are changing. You\'ve also stuck pretty close to canon, but of course, if you are going to make this a romance you will have to veer off and make Snape more human and his thoughts show that he is more than the snarky professor. He seems awfully tired and old so far. Have you set this up to show that Snape if floundering in a new world so different from his past life? That in fact he didn\'t really have a life before and now he has to make one? I hope he perks up as their relationship progresses. A nice start. Bravo.
