Yes, telling this tale from Hermione's mother's point of view was the perfect angle. I am relieved by the end that Snape appears obsessed with Hermione, Hermione in love with Snape. I can understand her mother - she has to endure the world the pure bloods are inflicting on muggles - but I don't sympathize with her. You write such beautiful short character sketchs, I just love your stories.

i recall reading this story a year or so ago - and was very happy to find it again - fantastic and the first story to get me hooked on dark fics - very happy to find one without smut in it too!

Enjoyed reading this again, but am I correct that you\'ve ehanced/changed bits of it? I saw on your LJ you are thinkingof writing an SS POV to this, I must encourage you to do so. Love the POV and the tone of this fic.

What a novel point of view. We don\'t usually get to see things from the Muggle perspective. Thanks for such a wonderful story!

Wow. Incredibley powerful and moving. I have said this in a review to another author - the quality of story coming out since HBP is wonderful. It\'s almost as though a shock wave has moved through and refreshed the genre. Thank you.

Wow! Horribly realistic, yet fascinating, good job at the mother\'s conveyed hatred for snape. Great little bit you have here. I hope to read more from you in the near future.
