You were not kidding when you shared that this was a dark fic... It is very well done - conveyng a true Master/slave relationshp can be very difficult. I do have to admit that I was hoping that Hermione would commit suicide before she would take the mark, but in keeping with the Dom/sub situation - her responses are very intuned to the psychological attachments which do form.
