An entire fic without quotation marks? Well, yes, but I fail to see why that would be considered a selling point. I've come back to this story after reading Everything To Wish For; allow me to congratulate you on your growth as a writer (and if neither has been subjected to beta reading, as a self-editor) between the writing of this piece - I assume this is the earlier of the two - and that one. If nothing else, your grasp of the proper uses of quotation marks has improved dramatically. Brava!
