Very moving recount of what happened in the past. I happen to agree with a lot of what you said. I think Dumbledore begged Snape to kill him, he was not pleading for his life nor do I imagine that he ever would. I still think Snape is working on the side of good and since Dumbledore nealy had Draco convinced that he could help him, I believe there's good in Draco too. Love how you worked that into the story. :)
