At this point in the story it seems like Snape's giving Hermione every reason possible not to pursue her fantasies --- possibly so he won't have any moral recriminations about what's to come, and totally throwing the ball into her court. Sneaky devil!!

Ahhhh, Draco. Good twist. The lines about Hermione thinking how Snape would see himself through her eyes calls for a potions accident with switching consequences... hehe, and then Draco easying (?!?!) up to Snape-in-Hermione... that would be interesting... *grin* Who knows... (apart from you, that is)
