This story has a lot of potential. Don't let the flamers get you down. And keep writing. However, on the constructive side, there does seem to be a huge shift in characterization. This could be fixed by revising the first chapter or adding a chapter in between these two to fill in the jump. Or, explain it in the next chapter as Hermione explains her games to Severus; after all what could be more confusing to a man than personality shifts in his wife to match the other changes.
