Sorry I just don't by it. Hermione is way OOC here. She is such a strong and confident person that she would put up a fight no matter what.

lol well, yes i can see why a couple of you don't buy it.. however if you will notice the last line, she will get to that soon enough... you also have to realize that once she is in malfoy's possession there are things he could probably do to her, not to mention that there might be stipulations to their marriage to ensure that she acts the part of the happy little housewife or die. trust me.. i know what i'm doing.. come back and see what happens next chapter.. i already have it half written and it will be much much longer i promise.

Well, I can understand some of the thoughts about Hermione being OOC. I think that the opinion that she is an all-powerful witch would most likely be wrong. In all actuality, she is extremely intelligent, and powerful magically, but she also has a problem with her self-esteem. Otherwise, she would not act like she does. I know-I used to be like her-a little know it all that didn't seem to have anything going for her but her mind. I think that she would do what she has to do, if only to remain in the one world that she knows the most about. After all, what does she know about the muggle world anymore except the culture. She would have no training-and no one from the magical world would be able to provide the references for her to be able to make a living in any way except for maybe waitressing or the like. I think it would be more OOC if she were to run away and do that.

That said, I would suggest maybe a little bit of back story that would explain why she went through with the marriage instead of doing what most of the other MLC fics do in having her be petitioned by Severus. Personally, I think this is great and can't wait to read more.
