This one is not a problem to review! Congratulations on writing a wonderful first chapter. Your story is definitely one that I will watch closely. I thought you might be deliberately using the words "tiny, little" in reference to Ms O'Kelley (?) but do you find it to be a little redundant? I hope you post again and quickly. This has all the earmarks of a great story.
