Very cute ending. Such an odd holiday - but then now-a-days nearly everything from choclate, to pizza, to bosses has a holiday/ week/ or month. July was national ice cream month. Hmm, that might make for an interesting celebration also. Off to attack that plot bunny! Good story - well done.

This looks like a case of great minds thinking alike... I posted a Pirate Day / Hermione Birthday challenge in the challenge fic area on the day itself... Look for "Cap'n Hermione".
I included the lyrics to a new song talking about just this subject, from my favorite filker, Tom Smith, it's called "Hey, It's Can(n)on!" He will never charge for this one to avoid problems with JKR's lawyers, and you can always download it free from (http://filkertom-itom.blogspot.com/).
If you like it try some of his other stuff... like at tomsmithonline.com

The Cornell grad students had a party for this! Glad to see you marking the day! Fred and George are great here, and I like your mix of handwork and magic on the dress.
"bury his treasure" *snort* Good job! :-)
