Great suspense factor going on at the end there. =D

Do you have a beta at all? Just curious because I noticed some grammatical and spelling errors that could have gotten caught. I not trying to be mean, just thought that you might like to know because the errors tend to confuse and/or become distracting and interrupt the flow/pace of the story.

Other than that keep on writing and we'll keep on reading! ;-D

Instead of 'staid' I think you mean "stayed" as in to stay in place, past tense.

good start, a proper (accurate) history of the trio from their point of view with out all the..ah.. embelishments of time and writers. I look forward to reading more!

This is a very intriguing start to your tale. You've offered up a few details to give us a picture of the trio's current circumstances and set the stage for more chapters. You can unfold the story slowly, bringing the reader along with a full account. Don't worry about how long it is if the story needs the background, as long as the background is pertinent. I liked the peek at the trio in their later years. Unusual!
