I was a little disappointed with this second chapter. Why should Hermione need Ginny and Pansy to defend her? She's a very capable witch in her own right. I'm primarily a Harry/Hermione shipper but I'm willing to give well written stories in other ships a chance. But the one thing I can't bear is when Hermione is depicted as weak or helpless. That has killed many promising stories for me. Hopefully the next chapter will be better
