How bleeding ridiculous are you?? We both take a hiatus and you make it back before I do. And my chapter's written, I've just been traveling and haven't had a chance to type it up yet.
Cheeky, that was, having him give out presents like that, though very clever. And a very nice touch with the wintery wonderland imagery, though we haven't actually seen it. Mine are still in Disney World...I'm trying to get them out. This next chapter still has them there, but I think I've hit the turning point, true turmoil ahead. Heh.
I'm so proud of you for updating this. I feel like it's been ages, though I know it has been ages since I've updated anything as well. I've just been traveling and very busy. Mid session break is here now, though, so I should have a bit more time, at least for this weekend. I'm looking forward to the intricate design that you'll no doubt have in this elaborate engagement ring that you no doubt will have a mushy gushy scene for. ;p I'm looking forward to a bit more mush and gush, then I too, like Hugo, can run off, change my shoes, and puke.
Lovely lovely little chapter dearie, and so convenient how it all fits together. I wish I could just tie a happy little bow around Sev & Hermione in my story, dealing with that lovely large family she's popped out with Blake. Urgh, Blake, what on earth am I going to do with him? Though at this point I feel rather like Pirandello, I've given him life, his story is no longer mine to revoke or twist, he must tell it of his own accord and who am I to try and stop him? It's that fact that worries me because I can see Blake trying to really keep his family together and I think at this point, Severus just can't fight for it.
You've made it simple so that Severus doesn't have to fight for it. He's got it made here, an unhappy Hermione who's got two kids with an unfaithful husband and the lover she's recently acquired turns out to be the man from the pub who knocked her up with her third child. That works out well for all parties involved. I just wish I could say the same for Blake, Hermione, and Severus. I just don't see Blake as the cheating type so it won't be an easy write out there. Though Ron, yes, easily, which is why this story works so well.
My congrats on getting a new chapter up before I could. I want to see this engagement ring and the proposal, and very soon. But not before my next chapter gets up, which shouldn't take too long. It's just 4am here and I'm no more in the mood to finish typing it. The little squiggles on the page are blurry and hurting my eyeballs. So I think I'll give it a rest and get the rest later in the morning.
Again my happy cheers to getting a new chapter up!
Cheers.
