Hermione would in fact be a pureblood if her father were a squib and her mother a witch.

the story sounds good. I don't know about the blood... well, it would really depend on the Squib's parents really. if they were muggles or magical. that's my opinion. If they were, then yeah I could see that. I love the idea of Ginny being Ron's spy so cool!

depends on weather the squib is from a muggle family (half blood) or wizard family (pureblood)

I believe she would be considered a full blood. Have you thought about just leaving her Mother as the muggle woman who raised her? The title I thought of if just her father had magical heritage is "A squib by any other name".

my understanding from the books is that a Squib is a child of a wizarding family that cannot do magic. If he has a muggle family then he would just be a muggle. If you use the definition the books give then he would have wizarding parents, he just wouldnt be able to do magic himself.

wouldn't her dad being a squib and her mother having been a witch make her a full blood?
