ApollinaV: This . . . was . . . brilliant. I have no other words for it. You had to feel for Ron in this one, his heartbreak and determination. A lovely bit of writing. Thank you so much for sharing it. ****

Lisa_Jean; Wow, sensible, adaptable Hermione. She knew what she had to do and Ron was clueless as long as the cash flow remained steady. What a shock and what a death. Woo. Thank you for this. ***

puttwitch: That ending line had me in stitches. It was what Ron said to Harry on the train when he first met him. Trust Ron to die as a result of his own gluttony. There's a reason why it's a sin after all. Wonderful, and thank you. ***

Damn! I could understand one review per chapter, but not per day. Perhaps they have an error in a new script code or something!

Ms. Figg, I think it might be one review per chapter. It just let me put this review on a different chapter. Oh, well, this story idea is really fun to read and write. Thanks for letting us share!

Gods, that was the single most underhanded thing I've ever seen Severus do in any of your stories, bar none. He sent an innocent man to Africa, and judging by the way his eyes were glinting every which way, he was not expecting him to come back. It's one thing when he manipulates a situation, but she's crying, and he's just quirking his lips, pleased as anything, practically checking her as he offers a shoulder to cry on.
(Checking is a hockey reference, where you kind of push your shoulder against another player to control their movement... I always hate it when I can't understand another person. ^^)
Anyway! Still loved it, it just dropped my jaw a bit. I suppose it's not much worse than when he bit Harry for leverage in Twice bitten... I mean, he didn't SEND the lion.
... or did he... ? O.o
