Well I it's high time I de-lurked and gave you a review, so here goes...

I. Love. This. Story.

Is that enough?! Haha no but really, I often find some writers' dialogue jarring to read but yours flows so beautifully that it honestly feels like these characters are acting out the scene right in front of me (Ha I wish! Mmm Lucius...). The other thing I adore about your story (apart from the vivid descriptions, twisting plot and excellent characterisations) is the way you insert little snippets of historical vocab - I especially liked the "crack" one in this chapter.

I almost didn't continue reading after I saw your little comment. But then I thought why punish myself, when I would much rather have Lucius punish me. And even though there were no lemons this chapter still delivered a good set-up for future lemons.(please I beg of you, gimme gimme gimme)I also love your hermione and lucius together and alone. I totally get the way she feels while buying clothes and having someone bug the shit out of you. Write on, I truely can't wait for more.

Poor Hermione. I can see when she feels insecure her old habits from living alone kick in; thus her haunting of the Malfoy Library; forgetting Lucius's company; and bringing a book to the table to read instead of engaging in conversation. After Lucius's initial anger and Hermione's apology, I think he dealt with her emotional state quite well. I would even go so far as to say he was sensitive to her issues of living at the Manor. The pair do have sexual chemistry, but they seem to be dancing around the issue or the timing is never quite right. There is also the issue of different expectations, Hermione thinks she wants a no strings sexual relationship with Lucius, and Lucius seems bent on obtaining Hermione as a permanent partner who will bear him an heir.

Damn Hermione. What's wrong with that girl?

I might not say much when I read your stories, but I love them so much!!

I've never read a fic in this ship before as I don't see it as very plausible. However, you are quite skilled at making this work. I've enjoyed this fic very much and am quite interested to see the rest.
