This seems like a story with a lot of potential. The only thing I would suggest is making your chapters a bit longer. Maybe you could add more detail and character emotions. It is a great way to both lengthen a chapter and add character development.
I hope you continue to update and I can't wait to see where you take this story.

well that is an interesting start... alot of room to play with... though its a scary thought being taken and sold... even scarier when you realize that it still happens today *shivers* anywhooo good job so far
