Oh, I just love this update! So sweet and touching and funny! Hermione can just sense him and his feelings so well, if only she'd open her eyes and realize what that means already! LOL! And Draco, man has he got it bad. And he recognizes it, too, which only adds to his turmoil. I loved that snowball fight, that was fantastic, a magical snowball fight has got to be a blast, and it's so clever how you've done it. That whole playful scene eased the tension between them so much, and they really needed it. And I love where they ended up! *grin* Makes me want winter to hurry up and get here, and I don't even like the season! :D My knees are melting, I can't wait to see what happens next.

wooo gret chap i love the tension between them... i love that the underlying feelings are always present with them and i loved how hermione broke the mood by throwing a snowball at him that was hysterical and got the ball rolling in the right direction...

So thoughtful of Hermione!!! I'm sure she was feeling conflicted, but Draco did need some fun. I'm sure she wasn't planning it... BUT, nothing like a naughty romp in the snow to keep the Christmas Spirit alive.

fabulous chapter! I cannot wait to see what he does to her in the cold. You know he can get her so hot and wet it would melt the snow! Geeze, I feel like such a perve. You are amazing and I'm so excited to see you write a marriage law fic. I know it isn't the most original idea, but I'm sure you can make it interesting and new. A possessive/obsessive Draco is HOT. Anyways, I feel for Draco and I just hope Hermione realizes soon how she feels for him, but they can still dance around that for awhile longer.... and more explosive sex. ;D

OMG. I totally SQUEED when I saw this updated : ))) This was a beautiful edition to a beautiful tale that for me surprisingly just keeps getting better and better. I have no idea how you're doing what you're doing, maybe it's the rich detailed descriptions of the settings, atmosphere, moods, and the allegories you use. I also like the way you expose their inner thoughts in ways that feel authentic, personable, and yet somehow still IC! Really, the entire beginning of this chapter I could feel Draco's pain...the description of being in love with someone who doesn't love you back as being trapped at all sides like a failed Apparition was brilliant. I loved that we see finally what Hermione is really going through with her little avoidance routine. I think I can relate to her better now that what she's thinking has been revealed more. I like that she reflects on Draco and how he may have affected other girls who have had the opportunity to be intimate with him. The musing about Pansy was funny and really insightful. And oh boy, what a interesting game they're caught up in...but it isn't a game is it? Draco is in it for keeps, and I'm not sure Hermione is ready! lol. I LOVED the whole Hogsmeade trip, and that for the first time Draco really enjoyed that trip and saw in a different way just because of who he was with and how she was engaging him. This really feels like a real courtship Ilke, not just a recounting of one. Kudos to you....and the snowball fight was done just right, just like a witch and wizard would play and I'm so excited about how it ended....I hope Hermione allows herself to be vulnerable so that Draco can feel OK about being that way as well. I can't wait to see where you take them next. Oh, I'm wondering about that snitch...is she going to give it to him? I hope so. AWESOME update, as always!

What a great chapter. I laughed, I tensed, I nearly drooled. I loved your description of Christmas morning so much. The playful day trip to Hogsmeade was an excellent way to transition to the next stage in their relationship, too. You're writing both Draco and Hermione so well! Thank you for sharing YOUR magic!

i really love the static sexual energy that's always surrounding them its so surreal what i love most about this story is it makes me feel all happy inside like warm candy and it reminds me of what it's like when i first fell in love this story is great and you write so beautifully to! more chapters please

You don't know how happy I was to see an update! The winter scene was wonderful, the joy of Christmas, Hermione reaching out to Draco, and the snowball fight, was just dreamy! Made me want to play too! Hermione and Draco's mental and physical reminders of "the smex" is just delicious, and I kept wanting to yell at the screen, "STICK IT IN ALREADY!" Great job Ilke, just flippin' fantastic!

Love it! Am a little miffed because have tickle fight in my story later and am now convinced your tickle fight is much cuter. Why do you always do this to me?!

But seriously, this was great. Perfect transition from post-sex awkwardness of doom to little signs of affection and sentimentality. Plus funny and adorable! Poor Draco. He needs a hug. And also lots more sex. And hot chocolate. I think we could all do with some hot chocolate.

Anyway, as I said, I love it, and I keep wanting more. Great pacing, great characterization, dialog, you name it. Great all around!
