The author has done quite well in scope and detail of what I think was their first fanfiction (and giving readers bold scenarios and world-building throughout, especially with the revolving points of view). I can understand how intense and complex it is weaving together this story and how real life shoved in and got the author's time and muse off-track. What has been left has been a good read. As always, we readers hope the author, VictoriaPrince, is happy and well. She's a cheerful spirit in her Author's Notes.
(Hopefully, this story's AFF complete, uncensored version can be migrated to AO3 [that only has Ch. 1-11] vs. FFN, that has the entire, but censored version, of Ch. 1-17.)

Refuge has been a powerful take on the Voldermort wins story. I hope you come back to it someday. I would love to see what happens in Hermione's and Severus' lives between the battle and the prologue. Very well done.

whether here or at fanfiction this story is very good and i do hope you find the time in a hectic life to continue it and to write many many more as you have most diffinetly become one of my favorite writers i found this story unique and the ss/hg ship is one of the best iv'e ever read please continue you are very very good looking forward to your future work thanks vicky

wow cool!! But I just have to think that Hermione is a real snob. I know she doesnt know anything yet, but she doesnt give Snape even a small chance and just jumps to conclusion.. and poor Luna I hope Voldemort will help her once he is awake :( please update soon I am looking forward to it!!!
