I like your story I just have to point out a huge pet peeve of mine. Harry is not a half blood, both his parents are magical making Harry a first generation pureblood if you want to get techinal. Not one time in any of the HP books was Harry refered to as a Half Blood. JK Rowling described Harry as a first generation pure blood. I know, I know it's not a big deal really, but the idea of harry being a half blood is one of those 'fanfiction truths' that needs to be corrected. It drives me up the wall.
Seamus Finigan is a half blood (his mother's a witch, his father a muggle).
