Actually, for this particular kind of cross-over, having such a well detailed explanation of why the Wizarding World abhors necromancy (combined with an awesome Dementor origin and ghoul origin) is so completely brilliant! I love how you tied in Anita's ardeur and her anger-swallowing powers (which are being blamed on her necromancy even by her and Jean-Claude in canon). I am curious how you'll resolve the fact that if Anita doesn't purposely use her powers they go off at random, especially since she's been doing it since she was a young child.
good crossover. I hope you get the chance to return and complete it and your others.

Interesting story, though it does have me conflicted... Anita is one of my favorite characters and Richard not so much and seeing them act so OOC (Well Anita at least) had me at the edge of clicking the exit button, but the fact that this is one of the better fanfics for this category held my hand. I hope I don't come off as flaming because I'm not trying to... Oh I have some questions that I hope you will answer, is Anita going to be the over all bad guy in this fic? And what about the animators/necromancers? In the Anita Blake series it was a natural born talent that had to be used or it will leak and use itself, are you still going along with that or is it something different like they are born with a type of magic and they just use it to raise the dead? Are there two types of Necromancer/Animators the kind that Harry was talking about and the kind that Anita is or are they one and the same? And wouldn't Harry's option of Anita be biased because they are natural enemies? You don't ask a mouse if a cat is evil (or vis versa) cause the answer would obviously be yes... Oh and would Jean-Claude stop associating with Anita, he himself said that her behavior changed once she got the aduer so is it really her necromancy that is changing her? And what of Damian, he needs Anita to stay sane but Harry seems to be blocking her from everyone, is he okay? I hope you can answer some of these questions for me.
all 13 chapters are great so far. i admit i've never read anita blake vampire hunter, but this story is awesome.
