Very good chapter. I like how you've made Severus so concerned and caring for her, and yet have him be a bit awkward with that fact. It makes it more believable for me. I hope you're not going to make him faint in delivery? It's funny, but a little overdone.

AHhhh ha ha ha ha ha ha, that's hilarious. I've never heard of a couple's shower. Eh, but my friends don't have kids yet and are only NOW starting to get married. So I suppose eventually...

Foolish wand waving. Oh my god what an image to leave those girls with. Poor Padma or was it Parvati Goren isn't so good. I love the men's reaction to the whole party. Very man-cavey. (That's my new phrase. I learned it one an internet site last night... will it blend.com.)
The story about Snape's grudging admiration of the Weasley twins fart potion on the Mandrakes was hilarious. I always suspected Snape admired them more than he admitted.

I've been to a few couples showers before. They weren't that awkward, kind of fun actually (might be a Canadian thing :D).
Fun chapter. I think you did all the men justice. Severus must have been somewhat pleased as well as mortified. Thanks for the update.
