Boo! BOO!!!
I don't check your fic for a few weeks, so that I would have a significant chunk to read when I had some free time to just laze about...and this was the time I chose?? I need resolution! *weeps*
That was WONDERFULLY written, you did incredible. I thought my heart was tearing in two with Hermione's, I cried and everything. Everyone has gone through something similar, has experienced those feelings of inadequacy. Severus was a fool to not realize what he was doing, how blind. He tore out her heart and stomped on it, and never even realized until he felt her feelings through the wards. What an oblivious man.
Incredibly written, your characterization is spot on, sunshine. I can't wait for more!

Ah, the wounded Severus has his revenge (vicariously) on the woman who rejected him. I've noticed that men who get rejected frequently have a relationship where they get to do the rejecting. It's 20-some years later, but he's finally done it. Bastard. Sexy bastard, but bastard. I do so love the convoluted psychology you've given him; it's just so perfect!

Oh good God, you're killing me here! Seriously! If you insist on continuing down this path, you should take out stock in Kleenex. Sheesh. And I mean all that in the most loving way possible.

Wow. Each and every time he's been cruel to her before I at least partially understood it, at least from his point of view. But, this time...wow. IDIOT. He thinks he knows her so well, but obviously he missed the HUGE insecurity blanket she drags behind her. Hell, he just grabbed it and strangled her with it. I hope he's happy with his memories of both Lily and Hermione, because he's just lost his second witch. Dumbass!
Still a a great story, hon! Thanks! HG4eva

Oops, he's really gone and done it now, hasn't he?
Trouble is, what will Hermione need to give him another chance? Because I can't see you leaving them like this. Mind you, it's a fairly dramatic way of forcing her out of her neediness and him out of his complacency - well done.
Divorce - not when her business is so tied up in his property now. Not impossible for her to relocate, but she'll be in a worse state than she was before.
I hope you won't have them suffer too much, too long.
Some more lemons would be nice, too ;)
