poor hermione. i would have reacted the same way. but severus' social skills are so lacking it never occured to him she would have taken him in deadly seriousness. thank you for this wrenching update and i look forward to the next chapter.

While this made me cry abut, and it breaks my heart that he is such an idiot, I hope you don't plan to have things just patch up quickly again. I mean, eventually,yes. But maybe in a few chapters?

Awww only one more chapter since last time i checked? I'm dying here!!! I'm really enjoying this story. I appreciate the fact that you kept the characters real & gave them time to get to know each other at the start rather then taking the easy way out & have them been secretly in love for years. I'm really hanging to find out how hermione gets snape to agree to leave prison. Thanx for the good read!

ahhh... so good to have this update. And some progress. I laughed at Severus'assumption that Hermione would let him be now... no such luck, honey! *joins the stampede to open the cell door*

I have a theory! It could be bunnies!!! Sorry, totaly random Buffy moment there....anyhow, So...onto my theory....this nasty spell that prevents my poor Snape from continuing once insertion is achieved.....perhaps if he were to say finish...at least the first pulse expelled and then slide home to deposit the remainder, even if he got off only one shot a good fertility potion could ensure a fat curly haired snape baby. And nothing can make a man forget his past and embrace the future like the love of a good woman and who can resist a baby? I have 3 and would love to have more.!!

So anyhow, I'll sit here and wait for more =)

Our much maligned hero need not fear The Devourer in anyone's interpretation, I believe. Hooray for the feather of Ma'at. Serious lol at the healer's admonition of Severus' diet. Fantastic as always!
