I loved this story, Digitallace, and I have to say that it gave me great enthusiasm to continue the one I'm writing. Thank you for the encouragement and inspiration, this story was greatly appreciated. And when I look back on the story as a whole, it was rushed, but to a point to where it was a thoughtful, skillful challenge (in the best, most efficient way possible) for the writer to keep up with you, making the drama and suspense all the better.

I like the ending, it's a little sad that the 'fire' is gone but I'm sure they'll be happy nonetheless they are mates after all.
