Nice. Or not, from her point of view. But everything is in place, and I am interested! A slow poison and a disinterested, politically inclined fiance`, with a sensual Snape in the wings. I like this. More, please!

Compelling, tragic, intruiging and angsty all at the same time... I shed a little tear for hermione and a spike of jealousy when Severus came into the bar with his trollop... lol

Great first chapter. I love the Snape you described all sex and mystery. This Evan person sounds like he'd be perfect for Hermione however what should be a perfect fit and what we need are sometimes two different things. Can't wait for more. Well done!!!!

So far this story seems to be off to a great running start. A good plot line has been established and I can't wait to see how things progress. Poor Hermione, though. This Evan character doesn't even seem to care enough about her to wake up.
