mmmmm just thinking of Severus and Lucius together....*mind wanders off* and a great chapter as always. :) Draco needs to get himself a girl. Maybe a oc character could come to Hogwarts. Just an idea. :)

Hi Love. My new hot tub arrived last night. Though I've done my bloody back in and I'm in agony. I need it hooking up now. And yes it is the same as a cool swimming pool in California except that we have a steaming hot bath and look up at the clear Lancashire sky and stars, usually in the snow. We still have a glass of champers to hand and as always the boys are invited. Swimming trunks are optional! But I digress!Poor Hermione, believing that Lucius had "protected" her when he was only clearing a duff wand. Bad form methinks. And poor Severus....death by nappies! My two year old granddaughter's tried to kill me a few times recently.Reminds me of when our brilliant Bolton comedian, Peter Kay built a fighting robot from a Celebrations chocolate tin and called it "Death by Chocolate". Magic! The Sorting Hat's a bit pervy though wanting a house-elf to rub in his oil. I'm afraid I'd have insisted that Lucius himself did it but then I'm probably pervier than the Sorting Hat. Have a good weekend, dear. It's a Bank Holiday on Monday over here and my husband is digging foundations for our new summerhouse to go with the hot tub. So Hermione and Lucius are still tenuously connected and going ahead with the plan. Great minds they might be, but great communicators (outside the bedroom) - nuh uh. They need to TALK to each other. Perhaps a potion would help. Heh.

Anyway, wahey, a masquerade ball - definitely something to look forward to. I especially want to know what Snape has come as.

Chapters 19/20: It's great to return to this story - Lucius has had that bruised shin a loooong time.

Well, muchos gracias for the sangria! Lovely - and so lemony too. The thought of Snape and Narcissa eating from trays on their laps made me chuckle. Do they have tartan rugs over their knees as well? Haha. I like how Lucius is so self-aware of his needs in a marriage - he is a wonderful foil for Hermione who, despite her intellect, doesn't have much of a clue. Poor girl, all that internal conflict, all that sex...I pity her, I do. No, I don't really.

Anyway, it's lovely to be back on the Shrew Taming pony. Looking forward to more!

Lucius really needs a new wand. Maybe he could just put his old one in a glass case and put it on display? Then he could occasionally take it down and swish it for old times sake.

What happens if one of the children are so clearly meant to be in one of the other houses? Maybe Lucius will have mellowed some more in 11 years time and will be ok with a child not sorted into Slytherin. Also, I assumed that Godric would have put some sort of spell on the hat that would require for it to place each student in the house most appropriate for them?

I hope there are more children and some of Hermione's friends get to be godparents. If Hermione can learn to tolerate Lucius' friends and ex-wife, then he can learn to tolerate her friends too!

I don't know who's more evil, the hat, Lucius or you. LMAO A deal with a hat for Slytherin children?! Egads! I hope Hermione finds out and denies him sex for a week! lol Their reactions (and the conversation about it) to her pregnancy (Twins?! EEK!) was fun and funny. It's hysterical to me how much their love of one another has softened them to each other, but how neither has particularly noticed the other's changed actions and reactions. Lu and Sev talking to each other always succeeds in makeing me laugh and/or smile, so thanks for that, too. You positively rock; did you know that? Well, you do. Thank you. HG4eva

Ah, our dear sweet Lucius making deals with the hat. The animated hat gets an oil rubdown in exchange for some discreet student placement in later years. Ah, but all he has to do is smile and it makes the whole world better, no?

Well, I suppose all else I have to comment on is SWEET JUMPING CRAP TWINS!!!! Oh, as soon as she said that I had a vision of a blonde Fred and George. Twin boys would be so much more fun. *Snuggles*

I changed the front of my profile to project my real age. I basically wrote that when I created my account, and then forgot about it. Anyhooters.
