methinks Serverus knows he most likely wouldn't make it through the war euther and doesn't want to make promises he can't keep. But I have to admit, it's sad that he didn't let himself truly give in.

Fantastic. It would be nice to get a post war sequel! (sequal ?? spelling??) I'm actually listening to the Wicked soundtrack... the general feeling of angst really fit the feel of the fic. Again, fantastic!
