I enjoyed this immensely. I think it's quite plausible that Snape was just looking for a bit of comfort of the flesh that night. Although I really love reading SS/HG stories, it's only to imagine myself in her place. But, let's face it, this story is probably much closer to the 'truth' about what he'd really feel about her.

That was absolutley brilliant. You managed to capture the personality of both. Yet you added mystery to Hermione and curiosity to Severus that didn't make them unbelievable. It is sad that you have not planned a sequel. I think there is still quite a bit of their story to tell. Well done!
