Wow... that was...
I'm damn near speechless. It was beautiful and sad and *wrong*. Ugh, my heart hurt while reading this. You wrote them so well that I could almost imagine what it might be like to be them; to live in so much darkness that any bit of color tends to blend in and stand out at the same time. And I have no idea if what I just said made any bit of sense, but the point is that this story is dark and beautiful and I *love* it.
