Also, which I forgot to mention, and remembered as soon as I'd hit "send", I played Strange & Beautiful (I'll Put A Spell On You) by Aqualung on repeat as I read this. I have to admit the song is absolutely perfect for this story in some odd way. That's all. xD; totally useless information

I enjoyed this, it was interesting working through Malfoy's intentions. I would have liked an explaination on the connection the magic had to hawthorn & Malfoy etc. But still, it was intriguing.

would he really be happy having Harry this way? Stripping him of pretty much everything else in his life would strip him of a lot of his happiness and personality. i hope it's worth it for him.
