Very beautifully written. Rowena and Salazar really are the perfect complement to each other, despite the many fanfics and fanart depicting that Rowena and Godric belonged. I was curious though, in the wedding, who's was it? Salazar to Helga? That was my impression but it was cryptic, which served a point, but a small bit of clarification would have been nice. I really enjoy how you didn't craft Salazar to be a comic book villain, but gave him very Slytherin qualities that still painted a portrait of a real man. Rowena is also very femininely cold and aloof, as well she should be. Excellent vocabulary as well. I thoroughly enjoyed this.
