I have to admit that I too was slightly confused by the time jumps and perspective. But I read on and am so glad I did, or I would be glad if I wasn't crying ;)

Lovely story and great to see a new plot device. Thoroughly enjoyable read, even though it sent me reaching fir the tissues.

This is a beautiful and touching story. I do have a small suggestion, though; it's a bit confusing to read until you realize that every other section is a flashback. I don't know if this was done on purpose, making it unclear at the beginning...but maybe you could italicize those flashback sections? Either way, I got all sniffly at the end. Nice work!

So, So good! of course, I write this through tears, but it is due to the beauty of your story and the forgiveness that is portrayed there. I really enjoyed your story. Thanks for sharing. p
