I like it. It's a good start and offers an alternative to what usually happens in stories. I like the thought of Tom growing up happy and with a loving family. I'm interested in seeing where the story goes. You don't have any set pairings, and I must admit that I almost turned away because of that one thing. I'm glad I didn't, though. I'm curious about it. And with Tom being raised differently, how does it affect the future? You've opened up a world of possibilities with changing the course of a single person's history. I hope you write more soon.
