interesting, sounds like the the sucker responsible isn't willing to let har go. it's almost like he's training har's body to respond to him and by forcing him to keep the kid, making a mate of har, willing or no.
i wonder if there are any wards that can keep him out.
also, i can't wait to find out who he is. most of us had pegged someone obvious, like snape or draco... if it's an OC i think i'll be a bit annoyed though. that seems like the easy way out.
are incubus kids hard to care for? you'd think they'd want to make the baby hardy and easy to care for since the carrier is likely to be less than for giving about having an egg shoved into them. those that survive the childs birth.

Wow cool story line! I so can't wait to see who this incubi turns out to be. My guess is someone young and went to Hogwarts with harry. Cause even if they sound mature they also have a tone of a younger person. To me. So cool though. Is it just me or does this mystery guy sound like he likes/loves harry? maybe he's trying to warm him up to the idea of being a family unit? Weird. Well we will see. :-) Great story so far thought!!!!!!!

I'm just niggling to know who the baby's other father is. 'James', huh? Well, it's canon, and it's not like baby-daddy has bothered to put his two cents in. Will Hermione take Ron shopping in the muggle world? Only 'cause if they tried it in the magical world, they're bound to bump into someone, and then it'll be all, "Oh! Are you two expecting?" awkward-like, and, yeah.

Really liked the idea of baby-daddy laying another egg, too...
