I enjoyed every second of this fic. I keep wondering and wondering why such a strong and mature witch would just submit to a ministry decree like that, and then out comes the bad @$$ Hermione we all know and love. That just gave the end the perfect clincher.

That was good but it feels so unfinished. Seems more like the first 2 chapters instead of the entire thing. I would love to see you continue this into something longer. The way you've written Hermione and her interactions with Tom would be a great tale.
