A most excellent read. Snape did what he had to, thankfully, he gave Hermione pleasant memories.

Beautifully done, dangerously so....

So moody and ominous. I could almost hear a pin drop when Voldemort entered. This subject matter can be touchy, but knowing Severus' POV changed that dynamic considerably. My two favorite moments are Hermione and Severus sharing a look, where she understands what is about to happen (and seems relieved it's going to be him versus her other, much worse, options) and gives him the go-ahead, and then when Severus casts the spell to implant the interlude as a positive, loving experience in her mind. His 'But I will.' comment at the end says so much. Don't worry about dark fics or happy fics -- just keep writing.
