another awesome story which was sweet but not sickeningly so... and with a smidge of redemption thrown in to boot.

I think i spotted a typo tho. you had gald... did you mean galled meaning a. Bitterness of feeling; rancor.
b. Something bitter to endure: the gall of defeat. C. Outrageous insolence; effrontery.
