Interesting concept. I'd feel it'd take Hermione a bit more time before revealing herself (more logic driven), character wise.
The story could also be a prequel to a rewrite of Half-Blood Prince/Deadly Hollow.

Amazing! Very well-written and there was never a dull moment. I'm honestly a bit surprised Hermione took off her mask so early, but I still love that scene. Keep it up!
