Thought I'd check out some of your other HP stories; I really have a fondness for Lucius and Sirius, I will admit. Very much so. This is dark, but wonderfully done so far. (And I like dark, so no problems there.)
I'm pretty cautious about AUs, but so far I'd say you're doing right by this one, and I'm looking forward to reading more. :)

Just finished chapter 1, and I'm now grinning like a maniac. That was absolutely beatiful. You set up the time period really well, your descriptions drew me into another world. The AU itself is really well set-up so far, too, and I loved the James/Sirius interaction at the end. Stellar job, can't wait to keep reading. :3
