Wow, so after reading the HG/LV I saw you had another one that I had never read. For a one shot you sure can pack in a truck load of emotion. I love Dramione but this is certainly not the typical type. :) It's almost impossible for my brain to reconcile a Hermione that is evil, so much so that it kind of felt painful just to read...yet even with her lost ways their love still seemed powerful.
I am opposite your sister in I love happy endings and somewhat fear sad endings (main character death plots, major heartbreak, etc are usually on my avoid list), but it being a one shot avoided any chance of the characters growing on me so the sad ending wouldn't feel depressing. For an ending type that I normally avoid, I have to say it was interesting. Keep up the great writing!
