Clever. I loved the dialog.

@ALANRICKMANFAN1983 - I know that the test are called N.E.W.T.s but my stupid internet settings kept truncuating that abbreviation to N.E. all the time! :( Anyway, it's fixed know. I hope you still enjoyed the story? ;) And no, for the time being this fic will remain a one-shot. I've made it my first priority to finish 'Embracing My Very Own Darkness' first.

@CryingCinderella: Yes, as I already wrote in my A/N I am aware that the memory trick is old news but it was so much fun to write this fic and give it a few twists and turns that were hopefully not as predictable as some might have expected. ;)

I see you've used the memory trick. I did one about a year ago called "Needs" where a similar fashion- though much differently motivated- was deployed- they'd end up tangled in the sheets after her accusing him of taking sexual advantage of her whilst drunk, only to realize that it had happened over and over- and then have her memory obliterated. Vicious cycle, that.
