Well, Chapter 8 ended with a truly surprising twist. We have learned much more about Draco. Now he is a more complex character. The story keeps getting better as it goes along.

Very suspenseful. Our Hermione is braver than I would be, leaving herself vulnerable to an altered Draco who has murdered so many. Let's hope his rage isn't triggered by passion. A fascinating story. Sad that dear Theo had to die; he's one of my favorite characters.

Zowie!! Hermione?? Draco yeah but Hermione? Aww sorry about Nott...he seemed like a good guy to build into a story even.

That was exhilarating and rapturous. Great scene. I am hopeful that all that passion broke the curse on Draco.

Looks like we are in for a lot of angst with this one (Ron/Hermione breakup & workaholic 'Mione, horribly hurt Draco). Going to give it a try in spite of the heavy angst because I've always been a sucker for Beauty & the Beast stories.
